Where our stock is

Our depots

Your container does not start its journey at our head office. It starts at whichever yard already has the right unit standing in it, and that is usually a lot closer to you than people expect — which is why the price depends as much on where the box is sitting as on the box itself.

Every enquiry answered within one business day.You hear back from a person, not an autoresponder. Enquiries that land on a weekend are answered the next business day.

Where the stock actually is

We hold and draw stock through yards and depot partners around the country, so for most addresses the container starts its run somewhere reasonably close rather than crossing the continent. Give us the address and we will tell you where yours comes from.

Common questions

About our depots

Can I inspect a container at any of your depots?

Cornubia is the only walk-in yard — ring first and come out. At the other eight, inspection is by arrangement rather than a drop-in, because they are working depots with machinery moving and they are not set up for the public. Ring and we will organise a time, or ask for photographs of the actual unit on request and we will send them before delivery.

Does the depot my container comes from change the price?

Yes, and it is one of the bigger variables people do not expect. The container price moves with what is standing in that depot this week, and the cartage moves with how far it has to travel to you. Two identical 20fts can be a long way apart on final price purely because of which yard they are sitting in when you ring.

Do all depots hold every size and grade?

No. Selection is deepest close to the ports and thinnest in the remote depots, which is exactly what you would expect. If you need a specific grade, a high cube rather than a standard, or a particular door configuration, tell us early — sometimes the answer is that it comes from a different depot and takes a few more days.

What if I am nowhere near any of these?

We deliver to every state and territory, and most addresses are nowhere near a depot. The depot list matters because it is what makes the run to you shorter than trucking a container across the country. Give us the address and we will work out which yard it comes from before we quote it.
